Jennifer Ha

Ms.Jennifer-Ha is a partner and founding member of JLJLawGroup, PLLC. She began her studies at Boston University and the University of Utah where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration.  Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Ha worked as the lead policy analyst with the Utah Medical Education Council, a governor appointed panel, charged to bridge the gap between public/private health care workforce and educational interests.  She subsequently earned a law degree at Brigham Young University where she went on to serve as the Prosecutor for Taylorsville City while maintaining a busy private practice.

While in practice, Ms. Ha soon realized that there was a large need for legal representation among the nation’s underserved minority population.  In 2010, Ms. Ha formed JLJ Law Group with the goal of increasing cultural competency in the legal arena for these populations and improving outcomes for her community.   In a very short time, Ms. Ha has become a champion of her community and the legal profession.  As a result of her efforts, in 2013 Ms. Ha was awarded the Rising Star Award by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Ms. Ha is fluent in the Vietnamese language and has played an integral role in various community organizations throughout the country. She has served as a board member of the Vietnamese Community of Utah (VCU), head of the Miss Vietnamese Utah Pageant, Emcee of the Annual Lunar New Year Celebration for various organizations, and television host for the Dorchester House “Healthy Times” series in Boston, Massachusetts.
